KICKING THE GATES tells the previously untold stories of watershed moments in women’s soccer, past and present, through the POV of women who have made it happen – the outliers, pioneers, and risk takers seizing their moment and kicking open the gates to the world’s game.
Production
Starting with a successful crowdsourced Kickstarter campaign, we raised seed funding to develop the concept. Our production team is a collection of filmmakers from the TV, film, and commercial worlds, all sharing a passion for the game and a strong belief in the transformative power of sport.
